Yankees at the Orioles is the showcase game on Fox Baseball Night in America

The main game of the week Saturday night at 7 p.m. on Fox Baseball Night in America has New York, venturing down I-95 to Charm City  to face the Orioles. Joe Buck, Tim McCarver and Ken Rosenthal will be on hand to broadcast the game to nearly 60% of the country.

This is a big weekend series between the Yankees and Orioles being played at Camden Yard. As of today the two teams are tied for 2nd place in the division 2 1/2 games behind 1st place Boston.

The weather this weekend in Baltimore will be hot and humid with pop up thundershowers scheduled for Friday through Sunday. What that means is heat and humidity, so Camden Yards will play very small this weekend. For an Orioles pitching staff that has been struggling over the past two weeks that is not the kind of weather forecast you want to see.

The Yankees meanwhile are just 5 and 5 over their last 10 games so this series with Baltimore is key.One of these teams has a chance to seize the second spot in the division and maybe build some momentum as we head into the All Star break in two weeks.

The game will also be seen on FOX Deportes nationally.

As usual the night begins with the Fox Saturday Baseball Pregame which originates live from MLB Network’s state-of-the-art Studio 3 in Secaucus, NJ. This week, longtime FOX Sports and MLB Network broadcaster Matt Vasgersian is joined by analysts Harold Reynolds and Kevin Millar.
